Anna has now led THREE trips to Iceland, through Anna Henly Photography, for the enthusiastic, passionate and energetic Going Digital photographer and friends! Anna is the owner of Going Digital Scotland where she has thoroughly enjoyed teaching hundreds of students how to use their “complicated” cameras and get them thinking and snapping away like a pro.
Anna has travelled the world with her camera and is looking forward to introducing you to some truly awesome destinations. Anna has won many photographic awards during her photographic career including three wildlife awards in the "BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year" competition at the Natural History Museum in London: an Arctic fox, a polar bear and a tropical tree!
Numerous Scottish students have asked Anna how to photograph the Northern Lights so she decided that her first tour would be a trip to Iceland to capture the spectacular Northern Lights. The first trip in November 2017 came with the warning: there won’t be much sleep on this trip ......she arranged an exhilarating programme during the day to see some of Iceland’s most beautiful scenery including glaciers and geysers. Volcanic Iceland has it all. It is the land of ICE and FIRE. Because it lies on the "auroral oval" it provides maximum, although NOT guaranteed, chance to witness this marvellous natural spectacle!
