The Anglian Wolf Society is a private, not-for-profit sanctuary for Wolves in the heart of the north Bedfordshire countryside with the following aims:
Educating and informing the public about Wolves,
Giving people the opportunity to study or work with Wolves.
Promoting and supporting Wolf conservation including sponsorship of the Balkan Wildlife Society to whom they have sent over £35,000 to help Wolves, where Wolves need help … in the wild.
It is with great sadness we have to report the passing of the last two Wolves - Kaya and Aiyana - in the care of the Anglian Wolf Society following brief, unrelated illnesses. We have been privileged to support the Society and their fantastic work for the last ten years and we thank all our students for contributing to the care of the Society's Wolves and helping the conservation of Wolves in the wild.
Big Cat Photography Workshops, Hertfordshire
The Cat Survival Trust in Hertfordshire, where we also offer photography workshops, share similar aims to the Anglian Wolf Society. Each visit supports the rescued Big Cats in the care of the Trust as well as their conservation projects overseas.
