Lamport Hall is a fine example of a Grade I Listed House situated on the A508 with easy access from the M1 and A14. It was developed from a Tudor Manor but is now notable for its classical frontage. The Hall is set in tranquil gardens, enclosed by a 10-acre spacious park. The gardens are extensive and contain the oldest rock garden in England which was populated the first ever garden gnomes in the country. Sadly only one remains who resides in the main house these days. The walled garden is a mass of colours in the summer months. The gardens are open to the public on weekdays only which means we will have the whole place to ourselves. We will be based in the old laundry that has been converted to a modern meeting room.
