THERE ARE NO WORKSHOPS PLANNED DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT THIS LOCATION - ALL TEACHING IS DONE REMOTELY VIA ZOOM
Join Anna at our Going Digital workshops held at various inspiring locations across the city of Glasgow.
The Botanic Gardens is a superb venue, internationally recognised for its impressive glass houses and extensive tropical and temperate plant collection from around the world. It provides a perfect backdrop for a photography workshop. We begin the day in the Library beside the Kibble Palace Glasshouse, an "A" listed 19th century curvilinear iron structure! Practise your photography skills on your favourite plants whether you prefer tropical orchids or insect-eating pitcher plants.
In the summer we run workshops at House for an Art Lover - inspired by the designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and set within the magnificent grounds of Glasgow’s Bellahouston Park. Originally designed by Mackintosh as an elegant country retreat for a person of taste and culture, today, more than 110 years later, House for an Art Lover exists to stimulate public interest in art, design and architecture. It's a perfect location to begin your photographic journey!
In the winter Glasgow sparkles with Christmas lights. There's no better place for learning the secrets of night photography. We will show you how to create stunning traffic trails.
We recommend beginning your Going Digital training with a Part 1 - Get off Auto course to build the knowledge and skills for successful photography whether you want to photograph a flower, a person, or a car. The fundamentals cannot be skipped! Our venues will inspire you to put your new skills into practice, and produce some creative beautiful compositions. And then, once you have digested all this information, come back for our workshop Part 2 - Developing Skills.
Please note: New workshops are being constantly added to the programme, and last minute spaces for courses can appear.
